In this hands-on 60-minute workshop, you will select a black and white mandala line drawing that represents a symbol of balance, wholeness, centeredness, and harmony. Then use paints, felt pens or pencil crayons to colour your own personal mandala. We invite you to use our colouring materials or bring your own if you prefer. The act of creating your own mandala can be a meditative experience in and of itself. After 45 minutes of meditative colouring, we will do a 10-minute sitting meditation, in a chair or on the floor, with each participant focussing on their very own mandala. Yoga mats and bolsters are available to use if you choose to sit on the floor. This free event is being organized as part of North Van Culture Days.
